Ella is supporting neurodiverse families through shared creative spaces. A parent to two children with autism, and with a late diagnosis herself, she understands how quickly school holidays can turn into periods of isolation for families like hers. So she is creating a series of sensory-sensitive, semi-structured creative sessions designed around their needs - not the other way around. Over six weeks, families will come together to create, connect, and exist in an environment that feels safe and considered, without pressure or expectation. With the $500, Ella will cover materials, food, and support access for those who might otherwise not be able to attend. The sessions will not only reduce isolation, but also quietly demonstrate what’s possible when spaces are designed with neurodiverse people in mind - opening up awareness, connection, and co-creation in the process.
