With experience in youth and community engagement and voluntary work, Zoe is always looking for ways to redefine connection. Inspired by the tranquil philosophy of Becky's Chambers’ Monk and Robot series, Zoe aims to offer passersby a moment of peace with a complimentary cup of tea and attentive listening. The $500 grant will cover the essentials: hiring a bike, acquiring a fold-out table and chairs, and sourcing secondhand cups alongside loose-leaf tea and plants for a touch of guerilla gardening. Zoe's vision is simple yet profound: a brief pause to remind people of the beauty in slowing down and sharing a moment of genuine human connection.
