Passionate about connecting diverse groups with nature and food, Lewis aims to build a supportive and inclusive community through shared hands-on experiences. With the $500, he will invite volunteers and local residents to explore a market garden, harvest fresh ingredients, and prepare pizzas together using a wood-fired stone pizza oven. While the pizzas bake, participants will paint pebbles with colorful designs and positive messages, taking one home and leaving extras around town for others to find. This lively session marries growing, cooking, creativity, and kindness, offering practical skills and small surprises that weave joy and connection into everyday life.
