As a self-described "hype girl" for these women, she knows firsthand how lonely this journey can sometimes feel. With $500, Harriet will expand her project from Manchester to the whole of the UK, inviting 100 women to contribute a personal patch using any medium that resonates with them — paint, embroidery, drawing — to reflect their unique stories. For those facing geographical or accessibility barriers, Harriet will ensure they receive the materials needed to contribute. Her goal is to complete and exhibit the quilt by International Women's Day in March, starting in Manchester and hopefully touring other cities. Harriet envisions this quilt as a vibrant testament to the collective strength, diversity, and shared journeys of women who often navigate these challenges alone.
