Gail and Dee are the founders of Mini Change Makers, a project inspired by their belief that doing good can be fun and should start young. With $500, they will transform the holiday experience for children under 12 by guiding them to give rather than receive. Through their Christmas Kindness Mission, children will rehearse festive songs, create crafts, and don cheerful outfits to visit and enchant residents of care homes in and around St Neots. The funds will help hire a rehearsal space, supply costumes and craft materials, and provide treats for the residents. But the heart of their idea is timeless: teaching kids that the greatest gifts are time, attention, and kindness. This initiative offers a special intergenerational moment, where lively children and wise residents share stories and songs, learning generosity beyond presents.
