A German native who cherishes her life in England, she feels this country has made her a better person. To show her gratitude, she's organising a lively charity event that will raise both hair and funds. With $500, Daniela will host an event where attendees can bid to clip off each of her braids, all of which will be donated to The Little Princess Fund to be fashioned into wigs for children with cancer. The event aims to also generate donations for esteemed charities like The Little Princess Trust, GOSH, and MacMillan through entertainment acts and raffles. Daniela's never had children, but she's known many sick kids and, teaming up with a local restaurateur with a son undergoing treatment at GOSH, she's set on making a meaningful impact. Cutting hair might be simple, but its effect is profound—and fortunately, it grows back like resilient bamboo.
