An expert in green spaces, Emilio helped design the Forever Fishponds Garden in Tooting, London, which faced devastation from a historic drought and persistent hose pipe bans. With $500, he plans to install a no-pressure, gravity-fed watering system using terracotta Olla pots, a proven technique from his work at Imperial College Garden. This system will ensure the gardens receive consistent moisture, relieving volunteers from exhaustive daily watering tasks. With any leftover funds, Emilio hopes to extend this life-giving technology to the Lambeth Community Garden. His vision is a thriving urban oasis, nourished through innovation and community spirit.
