A passionate parent, carer, and volunteer, Hannah has been inspired by her past application experiences and by others who have received grants. She already made a difference by securing suncream for her local food bank. With $500, Hannah plans to create a 'book bank' by purchasing a folding trolley storage crate to transport collections of books to food banks, hospitals, homeless shelters, care homes, and supported housing facilities. She will focus on diverse authors, Welsh bilingual books, and inclusivity. The project aims not only to distribute books but also to rally further community support through book donations. Hannah’s idea is simple yet powerful—bringing the written word and new worlds to people who need them most, one book at a time.
