Collette is giving a growing space new life in Cork. As a support worker with Horizons, Collette spends her days alongside people with intellectual disabilities and autism, creating opportunities for connection, routine and joy. Together, they care for an allotment plot in Ballincollig Community Allotments, a space that brings purpose and pride to everyone involved. She is using the $500 to buy two large compost bins, helping them sustainably produce their own compost and grow food for years to come. A simple upgrade that will keep giving back - to the soil, and to the people nurturing it.
