Living in a community that often silences these experiences, Imani is determined to lift the veil of fear, offering hope and a path forward for survivors. With $500, she will establish anonymous channels for victims to share their stories anonymously through collection boxes in schools and religious places, as well as online link forms and helplines via WhatsApp or SMS. She'll also train young peer educators to support their peers, creating a comfort zone for the young community. Survivors willing to share their stories will speak to give hope and courage to those still feeling the weight of silence. Imani’s initiative is about reducing sexual abuse and fostering healing, building a community where survivors can feel seen, heard, and supported.
