As a pre-eclampsia survivor, she knows firsthand the dangers of this condition and how crucial early detection can be. With passion derived from personal experience, Mwasiti advocates for increased awareness to help women recognize the warning signs and save lives. With $500, she will equip a local maternity center with five reliable blood pressure machines and 500 urine dipsticks. These tools will allow healthcare workers to screen hundreds of pregnant women for early signs of pre-eclampsia, a leading cause of maternal death in the area. Mwasiti's project provides more than medical equipment; it offers early warnings, hope, and a chance for mothers to flourish alongside their children. If just one life is saved, her testament to resilience will echo as a profound act of generosity.
