A medical student at KCMC University in Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Angel is deeply committed to mental health awareness and has a whirlwind of roles from public health advocacy to youth initiatives. With $500, Angel will organize 'Paint, Learn and Play' sessions for children facing dire circumstances—in Moshi and Sile-Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam. Each child will receive a painting canvas, a brush, and vibrant paints to express their imagination and feelings. They'll also get a storybook or coloring book with crayons, fostering their creativity and joy. Beyond painting, the day will be filled with games and educational moments for caretakers on child psychology and health. Angel's project paints a brighter, more imaginative future for children who need it most.
