As a bridge builder between the stars and the soil, Nimona spends her days delving into the mysteries of space science, yet her true passion lies in transforming those celestial concepts into tangible benefits for the children in her village. With $500, Nimona will launch "The Astro-Lunch Initiative" at Abdisa Aga Primary School, equipping 50 vulnerable students with durable thermal lunchboxes filled with nutrient-dense "Energy Capsules" made from local grains, in collaboration with their mothers. Each lunchbox will be adorned with a constellation map or a fundamental physics principle, and a "Lunchtime Stargazing" workshop will spark curiosity using a basic telescope. Nimona aims to show that while hunger pulls dreams down like gravity, proper nutrition and scientific wonder can be the fuel that propels these children toward their aspirations.
