During the COVID pandemic, Beth fell in love with Postcrossing, a project linking strangers worldwide through the exchange of postcards. It was during this time she realized the immense joy a simple card could bring, especially through the "Random Acts of Smileness" forum. One unforgettable experience involved crafting a collage for a girl in Canada with chronic pain. Now, though postage has become prohibitively expensive, causing Beth to pause her passion, the $500 from Drop Dead Generous will get 100 postcards back into the mail. Each postcard will carry messages of encouragement and celebration to people far and wide, reigniting Beth's drive to create smiles. She plans to capture each card in a photo collage and spark a chain of kindness by encouraging recipients to "pay it forward." These humble handwritten notes are poised to deliver more than 100 smiles, extending generosity's reach across borders.
